- Abstract
- This report demonstrates two Orlando residences being modeled using Positive Pressure Ventilation. By simulating with 1/43 scale heat and fan flows, actual house fires were recreated in a controlled underwater environment. The experiments were performed using a water table in the Two Phase Flow Laboratory at the University of Central Florida. Data is obtained though simulations and video recordings, then proven by the burning of actual houses. Observations of flow behavior, inaccuracies of the simulation process, as well as recommendations and conclusions are included.
