- Abstract
- For the program on the determination of the structural properties of low-cost house constructions, the W. E. Dunn Manufacturing Co. submitted 18 specimens representing their "Dun-Ti-Stone" construction for walls. The speciments were subjected to compressive, transverse, concentrated, impact, and racking loads. The transverse, concentrated, and impact loads were applied to both faces of the specimens. For each of these loads, three like specimens were tested. The deformation under load and the set after the load was removed were measured for uniform increments of load, except for concentrated loads, for which the set only was determined. The results are presented graphically and in a table.
