- Abstract
- This supplement covers the results of the second investigation into the fire-resistant qualities of garment materials worn by motor racing drivers. Our original report was published in the spring of 1971 following experiments conducted in the previous winter. Now, a year later, we are able to disclose the results of our work during the winter of 1971/1972. Both tests were conducted for the Jim Clark Foundation in the Nottingham laboratories of the Hosiery and Allied Trades Research Association.
