- Abstract
- The requirements of a generalized theoretical treatment of laminar flame propagation over a solid fuel surface are explored. Similarity representations of steady-state boundary-layer combustion, which are reviewed, treat the fluid mechanics of combustion quite generally while using simple, infinite reaction rate models of the combustion chemistry.
