- Abstract
- The Fire Problems Program at the Applied Physics Laboratory is a multidisciplinary effort under the sponsorship of the RANN Program dedicated to reducing the problem of unwanted fires. this has been addressed by studying practical problems associated with unwanted fires through a program of research, development, and the compilation of information coupled with an active program for the dissemination of this information to the users. The touchstone of our program has been an active sympathetic cooperation among workers in diverse disciplines coupled with the careful consideration of real life prohblems obtained through listening and interpreting these difficulites into scientific terminology.
