- Abstract
- Under grant G7-9002 Mod. No. 2 the Fire Research Group of the University of Notre Dame has been developing the three dimensional UNDSAFE code for predicting smoke and fire spread in compartments of any size or shape. The three dimensional code is a direct extension of the basic two dimensional UNDSAFE II code which is based on finite difference differential-field calculations employing primitive variables and taking into account turbulence, compressibility, buoyancy and one dimensional thermal wall, soot and gas radiation.
