- SNiP Chapter II-A.5-70 "Fire Protection Standards for the Design of Buildings and Structures" has been developed by TsNII promzdaniy [Central Scientific Research Institute for Industrial Buildings], Promstroyproyeki [Department of Industrial Building Design] of Gosstroy USSR, TsNIIEP zhilishcha Gosgrazhdanstroy [Central Scientific Research Institute of Experimental Design of Residential Buildings, Department of Public Buildings], and VNIIPO MVD SSSR [All-Union Scientific Research Institute of Fire Protection, Ministry of the Interior, USSR]. This Chapter Supercedes SNiP II-A.5-62 "Fire Protection Requirements. Principles of Design."
