- The TechTIP on Selective Automatic Fire Extinguisher for Computers describes, in overview, what the technology is and how it is used as a stand-alone firm alarm and suppression system for computer enclosures (cabinets). It mounts internal to the cabinets with velcro. Because it is used inside of cabinets, it eliminates fire from spreading to other computer cabinets and limits damage. It describes the benefits and drawbacks from using the technology. It lists successful applications and provides the technology and user poiints of contact with names and phone numbers.
