- Experience on more than 900 tested objects: the DIN 18230 constructional fire protection in industry is an ideal help for constructors and building authorities to decide on the 5 alternatives for requirements upon structural members and fire compartments. It shows the judgement margin in a special single case and prevents emotional decision. The verification of dates and facts still serves after a couple of years as proof facilitation if the adopted points given of the schemer and constructors were followed. From the viewpoint of the user the at present as pre-standard DIN 18230 used draft should be introduced as a full standard in connection with the Industrial Building Regulation after partial touching up in order to make an uniform judgement of industrial buildings.
