- Abstract
- The author represented the USA (ASA as a member-body), in an observer status, at the meeting of ISO/TC92 in Brussels. A draft recommendation for a fire endurance (or fire resistance) test was completed and three working group reports reviewed. The general organization of the meeting, the various documents, and the effectiveness of the USA delegate are all discussed. The USA delegate felt considerable constraint due to the observer status.
