- Abstract
- The study of the limit behavior of lean methane flames under zero-gravity conditions and, additionally, the study of the flow associated with such a flame using a laser Doppler anemometer is quite feasible insofar as the Spacelab environment is concerned. The results of such a study will have a decided impact on the development of a sound theoretical model for the extinguishment of lean-limit flames.
