- Abstract
- Under contract with the Office of Civil Defense, T.Y. Lin and Associates have prepared a computer program for the analysis of the effects of post nuclear attack fires on structures in terms of post attack usability. The preparation was divided into three phases: 1. A study of existing fire evaluation factors which may be applicable to fires resulting from nuclear attack. 2. Developing new evaluation factors for the fire effects peculiar to a nuclear attack including correlation of probable fire effects with blast effects. 3. Writing of the computer program.
