- Abstract
- These tests show development and mitigation of Class B explosions aboard Navah ships. This consisted of three main points: 1. Determing the conditions needed for developing a Class B explosion; 2. Determining the effect of ship board conditions (e.g. buffer zone size and ventilation) on the development of Class B explosions; 3. Determining the effectiveness of using water spray as a mitigating tactic. Results that address all three points are discussed in detail.
