- This document is a collection of slides to be presented to the Polyurethane Foam Association regarding work sponsored by the Sleep Products Safety Council. The slides summarize an ongoing research project that looks at the fire insult imposed on a mattress by burning bedding materials. Heat release rate and fire spread rate data are summarized for a series of common bedding material combinations.
