- Abstract
- A wood-joisted floor, 13 ft 6 in wide and 18 ft long, with a ceiling of 3/8-in perforated gypsum lath and 1/2 in of perlite plaster was subjected to a fire-endurance test on January 18, 1950. The test was made in cooperation with the Gypsum Association to establish a fire-resistance rating for this construction.
