- The doubling of production at the UK plant, and the ammouncement of a large new plant in Eire, indicate widespread acceptance for oriented strand board (OSB). This Digest describes this relatively new wood-based panel material and compares its performance with other wood-based products. It gives guidanceon using OSB and explains how to specify it in accordance with a new British Standard and a future European standard.
