Abstract
[ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH] Crude oil is produced in many places in the world, and accidental spills in oceans often cause environmental problems. Combustion is a posible useful method of removing a crude oil slick from an ocean surface. To understand the fundamental combustion behavior of crude oil, a series of scale model tests and numerical model calculations concerning the ignition and burning characteristics of crude oil are planned. In these studies, accurate values of the thermal conductivity of crude oils are required.
