- Abstract
- A total of twelve experiments were conducted in the SwRI Large-Scale Fire Test Facility. The objective of the current program was to examine the burning characteristics and the degrees of behavioral (functional) incapacitation of laboratory rats resulting from their exposure to heat and combustion gas products in large-scale residential fire simulations involving household furnishings constructed of traditional versus plastic materials.
