Abstract
Age is an important consideration in designing an injury control program or in studying the injury problem. An individual's age is characterized by a great many other factors such as physical condition, experience, and attitudes - ther than the number of his years of life. These factors together with the various hazards to which persons expose themselves and the way in which they live, contribute to accidental death and injury.
