- In this report, the discussion will be concerned with the design and application of flame retardant chemical systems, for polyester/cellulose blend fabrics. The problem and approaches addressed may be defined as being in the area of "applied chemistry." With the resources of the chemical and textile industries, successful research on these problems could lead to the development of commercial processes in a relatively short period of time.
