- Abstract
- A program of neighborhood analyses is a study of the environmental and housing conditions and the causes of these conditions,on an area by area basis. It points out particular problems in each area of the community and proposes decisive action to alleviate these problems. Neighborhood analyses are an integral part of the Comprehensive Planning Program. They supplement city-wide planning studies with more detailed data on the condition of residential and non-residential structures and on the condition of existing streets and other public facilities. Thus, they help in the formualtion of an area by area action program fro overall community improvement and development.
