- Abstract
- The manuscript presenting the results of animal experiments conducted with Douglas fir specimens that we previously submitted to the Journal of Fire Sciences has been accepted for publication. A copy of the revised manuscript is enclosed as Appendix I. Our goal during this quarter was to complete work with the rigid polyurethane foam (RPF) using the UPitt II flaming combustion/toxicity of smoke apparatus that we initiated during the previous quarter. We have met this goal and are presenting preliminary results from animal experiments conducted at Q of 35 kW/m(2). A schematic diagram presents a brief description of the apparatus and its functions.
