- Abstract
- The radiation ignition of a solid fuel (PMMA [9011-14-7]) was difficult when air was mixed with 4% CF3Br [75-63-8]. A correlation is given for the inhibition effect and the mass flux fraction of the inhibitor (CF3Br) on the flame surface. The inhibitor can be used for controlling the combustion rates of a solid rocket propellant.
