- [ABSTRACT IN ENGLIGH] There are no quantitative rated outputs to achieve the three aims of fire protection - people, environment, and object protection. In comparison to other countries the success of fire protection in the (old) FRG is not small, but without doubts improvements are still possible. To give the responsible political authorities scientifically proved and therefore objective assistance to make decisions in improving the efficiency of fire protection the establishment of a new field of research in industrial fire protection management is initiated.
