- Abstract
- This talk will discuss the development of a Consolidated Compartment Fire Model (CCFM) Computer Code, a new major focus of compartment fire modeling research at the Center for Fire Research (CFR), and it will describe the capabilities of the recently developed, one-room, benchmark-type code, FIRST (Fire Simulation Technique), which represents a merging of and additional enhancements to several advanced versions of the original Harvard 5 Code. The purpose of the CCFM effort is to consolidate or unify future zone-type compartment fire modeling activities.
