Abstract
[ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH] It is impossible to have a short detection time and still maintain a small probability of fault alarms, when one select the parameters of a fire detector. Obviously it is more important to detect a heavy heat producing fire in a shorter amount of time than a smoldering fire. This paper presents a Multiple Sensor (based) Fire Detector, shich evaluates the temperaturee and smoke density to decide which determinant should be predominant: a short detection time or a small probability of fault alarms.
