- Abstract
- BRNSIM is a mathematical model which predicts burn depth given incident heat flux as a function of time. The historical background leading up to its development will be covered in addition to its current implementation. BRNSIM's use in predicting burn hazard/protection of clothing systems, weapons, ejection seats, and fires will be illustrated.
