- Abstract
- For the program on the determination of the structural properties of low-cost house constructions, Knap America Inc. submitted 12 specimens representing a wall construction of "Knap Concrete Wall Units." The specimens were subjected to compressive, transverse, concentrated, impact, and racking loads. For each of these loads three like specimens were tested. The deformation under load and the set after the load was removed were measured for uniform increments of load, except for concentrated loads, for which the set only was determined. The results are presented in graphs and in tables.
