- [ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH} In an experimental investigation was studied the fire smoke filling of a large compartment (6x6x6 m) - ventilated through shafts of various heights (0, 2, 4, 6 m). The fuel was kerosene. In the experiments were measured the optical smoke density (OD) and the gas temperature (T) at various heights. By visual observation was measured the height of smoke layer (h). The result of the investigation was primarily the large collection of data OD, T, h - to be used in future tests of calculation models. Directly was observed - only a weak correlation between the smoke filling and the heights of the ventilation shafts.
