- Abstract
- As a result of a Naval Area Audit Survey (Report A61501 of 7 July 1971) a study was requested to determine the feasibility and practicability of consolidating the San Diego Naval Base Civilian Fire Fighting forces and/or the Civilian Security Forces. The purpose of the study was to determine if services could be improved from a financial standpoint, including simplification of organization and/or reduction of manpower. The appropriate funding activities for future budget requirements were to be identified if consolidation, in either case, was determined to be feasible and recommended.
