Abstract
Three candidates were developed which successfully met the requirements of a high temperature resistant, retriculated, electrically conductive explosion suppressant foam material. Each candidate was designed for use in the fuel tanks of advanced supersonic aircraft. The candidates are: (1) fluorelastomer coated phthalate foam; (2) fluoroelastomer coated polyether urethane foam; (3) phthalate foam.
