- [ABSTRACT IN ENGLIGH] Useful actions to plan or value measures to keep roofed-in atria and passages smoke-free in cases of fire are presented. With three practical examples - a four storey atrium with surrounding galleries, a seven-storey courtyard with shops on the ground-floor and offices in the upper storeys and a long arcade on the ground-floor with shops on both sides - the main principles and some possible solution are explained. Based on theoretical knowledge and analysis as well as experimental experience it is possible to achieve the protective aims of protection of people in total and with justifiable expense.
