- Abstract
- Measurements of the thermal resposne of selected fusible-link sprinklers to sudden immersion into hot gas flow are presented. Two methods of characterizing the responsed are detailed. One method explicityly account for phase change, the other does not. The methods are comared by using each to predict the response of a sprinkler to a selected mattress fire exposure.
