- [ABSTRACT IN ENGLIGH] In this report the present regulations in DIN 18230 and DIN 18232 according to smoke- and heat outlet of rooms on fire by vertical and horizontal openings in constructional parts are critically analysed, inconsistence or faults uncovered and possible improvements shown. Hereby an extensive, complete description of the heat outlet problem and therefore a simple derivation of improved w-factors for a revision of DIN 18230 is available.
