- Abstract
- The principal objective of this work was to develop an apparatus and experimental procedure for small scale liquid flammability tests. To demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the test apparatus, preliminary ignition tests were performed on n-tetradecane using external radiant energy supplied by tungsten filament lamps. Both piloted and unpiloted ignition tests were conducted.
