- The following report describes results obtained from a series of full-scale fire experiments conducted in the fire research facility at IIT Research Institute. These form a part of a continuing program being conducted under sponsorship of the Plastics in Construction Council of the Society of the Plastics Industry, Inc. The broad goal of the program is to maintain fire safety while expanding the useage of interior finish materials through improved understanding of the role finish materials play in fire development.
