- Abstract
- These requirements and methods of tests apply to fire damper assemblies intended to be rated 3/4 hour, 1 hour, 1-1/2 hours, or 3 hours and to ciling dampers intended for installation in hourly rated fire resistive floor-ceiling and roof-ceiling construction. Fire resistive assemblies are investigated in acordance with the Standard for Fire Tests of Building Construction and Materials, UL 263. As used in this Standrd, fire dampers and ceiling dampers are described.
