- Abstract
- During the period March 21 through march 28, 1962, Messrs. M. M. Abromavage and P. Fetridge assisted Naval Weapons Laboratory personnel in measuring field strengths and conducting fuel hazard tests aboard the USS Constellation (CVA-64). The ship was in guantanamo Bay, Cuba, during the tests. Fuel hazard tests were concerned with obtaining power density and field strengths from several sources at various points on deck as well as a qualitative test of fuel vapor ignition by microwave energy at certain locations on the deck.
