- Abstract
- As was pointed out in an earlier report, the use of acetylene in industrial plant calls for the careful control of conditions in order to limit, as far as possible, the resulting damage should an ignition or spontaneous decomposition take place. Continuing the examination of the quenching action of inert gases, this report describes the effect of the addition of carbon dioxide up to a total initial pressure of 6 atm abs.
