- Abstract
- In order to simulate the early stage of a compartment fire, a simulation model was developed where kinematic equation, diffusion equation, chemical equation, radiation equation and heat budget equation were transformed with differential schemes and air flow, air temperature, combustion products as smoke and gases, temperature on solid bodies were computed numerically. The fundamental computations and their verifications were already published for cases of an increasing fire at the central interior part in a compartment with various entrance sizes.
