- Abstract
- Task 3.2 is concerned with the experimental calibration and validation of, and analysis using the expanded Fire Demand (FD) Model. This work includes a review and analysis of the fire suppression data being compiled by the NBS-Center for Fire Research; a comparison of FD Model results with these experiments; and a sensitivity analysis to understand the practical significance of FD Model results for manual fire suppression equipment development. The deliverable is a research report describing the results and conclusions for those concerned with fire suppression research and equipment development.
