- Abstract
- This is the final report covering work under NBS Grant #8-9016, "Evaluation of the Combustion Toxicology of Several Polymeric Materials." This study was conducted to assess the acute inhalation combustion product toxicities of five polymeric materials (Douglas fir, wool, P.T.F.E. [Teflon], Modacrylic GM42, and GM 32. Laboratory investigation of combustion product toxicity is a relatively new field, and test procedures are not yet standardized.
