- Abstract
- The subject of this Report is a roof deck assembly consisting of structural cement-fiber units on bulb tees, supported by steel joists and covered with a built-up-roof. The object of the investigation was to establish by test, a wind-uplift classification for the roof deck assemblies described in this report. The test was conducted in accordance with the test method described in the Bulletin of Research No. 52 of Underwriters' Laboratories, Inc., entitled "Development of Apparatus and Test Method for Determining Wind-Uplift Resistance of Roof Assemblies."
