- Abstract
- A recommendation for a proposed general apparel flammability standard was submitted to the Consumer Product Safety Commission by the National Bureau of Standards in early 1976. This paper describes the concepts underlying the recommended proposed standard and some of the results obtained with the new test method. No claim is made that it represents the final standard, nor that the recommended standard will be issued by the Commission as a proposed standard.
