Abstract
[ABSTRACT IN ENGLIGH] To estimate the density of smoke gas static and dynamic tests are basically available, which characterize the different spatial factors in case of fire. In any case a reliable valuation of the obstacle of visibility in case of fire must be possible. With a view to rescue and evacuation operations the initial fire up to the post flashover fire must be simulated. Especially by initial fires the materials have to be tested adequately to the state of installation. The behavior of the compound must be considered. Relating the static method the ISO-Smoke-Box seems to be the best to suit various structures. As a dynamic valuation method the apparatus according to DIN 53436 presupposes a material specific test according to the risk.
