- Abstract
- The objective of this Phase 1 SBIR research effort was to evaluate the feasibility of using a computational chemistry approach to develop quantitative structure-property relationships (QSPRs) to screen and develop improved AFFFs. The surface tension and biological oxygen demand (BOD) of the surfactants in AFFF formulations were selected as the key properties of the agents.
