Abstract
The subject of this Report is a roof deck assembly consisting of steel roof deck units over glass fiber blanket insulation attached to a steel purlin with steel fasteners. The object of the investigation was to establish by test, a wind-uplift classification for the roof deck assembly described in this report. The test was conducted in accordance with the test method described in the Bulletin of Research No. 52 of Underwriters' Laboratories, Inc., entitled "Development of Apparatus and Test Method for Determining Wind-Uplift Resistance of Roof Assemblies."
