- Per your request I have calibrated your Pyrheliometer type heat flux gauge, HY-CAL model P-8400-J-100-120 with serial number Unknown. A substitution technique was used to calibrate the gauge in an infrared radiant field at flux levels to nominally 4 W/cm2. A schematic of the test arrangement is shown in Figure 1.
