- Abstract
- A review of what is known about the fire aspects of the Chernobyl reactor accident, based on reviews of the public literature and the U. S. and Russian official reports. In many areas more questions are raised than are answered by the literature. The talk will comment on some of the more sensational charges and ridiculous comments that have appeared in various publications. The comparisons with, and effects on U. S. (particularly the Department of Energy's) reactors are included.
