Abstract
This report of test addresses four, of a series of nine, fire experiments conducted in vacant single family dwellings on South Bristol Street in Santa Ana, California. Fire phenomena measured included: temperatures within various rooms, wall jet velocity, fuel mass during burning, heat flux, smoke detector activation time, sprinkler activation time, and time to full room involvement. Fuels consisted of home furnishings for three of the experiments and a propane burner for one of the experiments.
